Driver Training
ExploringNH's trainers have extensive experience in teaching drivers how to get the most from their 4WD or AWD vehicles. We offer a variety of courses designed to help drivers learn to navigate the unique conditions of Class VI roads in New Hampshire.

Whether you're just getting started with driving off-road, or want to take your skills to the next level, we have a training opportunity for you.
4WD Training - 4WD 101 & 102

4WD 101 is designed for drivers are new to the sport or have minimal experience in driving Class VI roads. Vehicles should have true 4WD.

If you've taken 101, or have some experience but want to fine-tune your skills, try 102. Vehicles should have true 4WD and appropriate modifications. See course description for details.
Custom 1:1 Classes
Our 1:1 training are typically 3 hours long and are tailored to your specific needs. Let us know what you want to learn or improve and our trail guides will create a session just for you. Previous courses have featured navigation and mapping, recovery, spotting, introduction to off-road/4WD, advanced 4WD techniques, and more.

1:1 sessions are not meant to replace our 4WD 101 courses for those with little/no 4WD experience, but are designed to hone your skills in a specific area. If you're new to the sport, check out 4WD 101.
