Disclaimer – THIS IS A NON-REFUNDABLE TRIP. PLEASE MAKE PROPER ARRANGEMENTS BEFORE PLANNING. I WILL DO MY BEST TO FIND A REPLACEMENT FOR YOU IN THE EVENT THAT YOU CANNOT MAKE THE TRIP, BUT I CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT.

This training session is limited to 12 rigs per day. This means no more than 12 rigs present for the training session per day. If you are bringing a passenger(s) they either need to pay the passenger fee and will be included in the training session. 

Pre-requisite – Have taken an ENH 101 course or you have basic experience offroading (with or without ENH) + ENH required equipment list

REQUIREMENTS:
1: Your vehicle must have a working 4LO, Low Range, shifter, knob, or button. If you are unsure if you have this, please email with your vehicle year make and model and we will confirm. Training@exploringnh.com

2: You must have a working/charged FRS radio (walkie talkie). These are available pretty much anywhere. From Ninja Turtles walkie talkies for kids to hunting radios, they are all pretty much the same. Walmart has some “Frozen” themed ones for $20/pair. Dicks Sporting Goods has plenty. Amazon has these Midland FRS radios (pair) which are really popular for $23.

Off-Roading Topics Include:

PreRreq – have taken an ENH 101 course or you have basic experience offroading (with or without ENH) + ENH required equipment list
Join us for the ExploringNH Offroading 102 course. This course consists of a short classroom session as well as guided hands-on trail time.We dive into more advanced driving techniques, recovery methods and other topics which will elevate your offroad driving experience. We want you to be comfortable in your own vehicle and know that you can operate it to its full potential. This course provides the necessary foundation for more advanced courses to further hone your skills. We also cover safety and recovery gear that you should carry to be safe while on the trails! Below is a short list of some of the concepts we will discuss during this course:
– How to handle varying terrain and advanced obstacles
– Getting out of sticky situations
– Basic offroad navigation – getting to your destination
– Repairing your vehicle on the trail or at camp
– Hands-on trail time with trainers
