Check out this incredible story from Extreme Terrain. Gotta love a company who is willing to do this for a person in need.

The reveal for Make-A-Wish® recipient Lucas and his ’96 Grand Cherokee occurred back in August, however, the build/reveal video was just completed a few days ago and is now ready to show the world! Lucas’ ZJ was a bit of a project for the build team at ExtremeTerrain but when Make-A-Wish® is involved, those guys get to work, spin their wrenches, and Make-It-Happen!

From Busted to Beautiful, check out the transformation here: https://youtu.be/yOEAwVL0mtI

We have also created a page on our site which features some additional imagery and description regarding the build and reveal: https://www.extremeterrain.com/lucas-make-a-wish-grand-cherokee-build.html -check out that before and after slider! How cool is that!? Can you believe this is the same Jeep?

Another awesome update from Extreme Terrain.

Hi Paul,

When the most decorated Freestyle Motocross rider in X-Games history wants his new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon modded, Brian Deegan turns to none other than the staff at ExtremeTerrain to create a Wrangler worthy of the Deegan38 nameplate. In this episode of XT's Throttle Out, you can witness the transformation- from a basic, stock Rubicon to a trail-worthy, badass Deegan38 build. Since you can't just take a new JK off the showroom floor and cut it apart for mods without a proper blessing, Deegan alongside his daughter, Hailie, run his new Rubi through the paces (and the drink) to ensure a proper pre-build inspection.

Some Jeepers will say a new Rubicon is already a very capable vehicle for offroading, however, with a little elbow grease and some assistance via the Deegan38 parts line-up among others, Brian and XT Host Ryan Huck get to work to create a rig worth the Brian Deegan seal of approval. If you like mud and cool Wrangler builds, you're not going to want to miss out on one of the muddiest and coolest episodes of Throttle Out from ExtremeTerrain.

You can view this video here:
https://youtu.be/trWEQ7h00dg (http://trWEQ7h00dg)

Starting with some Armor, Custom Graphics, a big Lift and 37" Wheel/Tire combo, Ryan Huck, and the XT crew get to work on Brian Deegan's JK Rubicon transforming it into a monster off-roader with incredible, and seemingly-limitless, mud-slinging prowess. Lots of careful planning and wrenching went into this build for the enjoyment of you and your fans at exploringnh.com- Brian's stoked, Hailie's stoked, we're stoked- think you can handle it?

As with all of our videos, please consider sharing this episode of Throttle Out on your website, blog and/or social media channels with a linked reference to www.extremeterrain.com (http://www.extremeterrain.com/) as the only thing we ask in return. Like always, if you have any other questions or need anything else from me, do not hesitate to email me directly.

Hi Paul,

In this week’s episode of ExtremeTerrain's "Throttle Out", XT Host Ryan Huck visits Rausch Creek to answer the question that’s always on Jeep owner's minds: Which JK is better for off-roading, 2-Door or 4-Door? This age-old debate has been around ever since the JKU debuted in 2007. Our boy Ryan hits on all the points (and rocks) imaginable. With the 2-door, one of the most notable differences is the shorter wheelbase in comparison to the 4-door, but what does that actually mean when it comes to off-roading capabilities?

Check the video below to see what we mean:

(http://tx.bz-mail-us1.com/1/l/ae9cf74bdfa64b74afbc0c06246ac4fb?rl=https%3A%2F%2F www.extremeterrain.com%2Fthrottle-out-jan-2018.html)
Check this video out here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/throttle-out-jan-2018.html

This is one of those debates that will continue to go on for all of Jeep-Eternity and because of the nature of this topic, we know your fans and visitors at exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/) would be able to relate. What do you say? Is it worthy? If you are in agreement, please consider sharing this on exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/) through a unique post, blog, or social share, and like all these types of requests, don't forget to provide a linked reference to our video page https://www.extremeterrain.com/throttle-out-jan-2018.html

As great as the new JL looks from the outside, we have received quite a few requests regarding the interior due to the number of upgrades and improvements in the latest overhaul. In our latest video, ExtremeTerrain video host Ryan Huck provides us with an in-depth review of all the interior features of XT's Sahara JL.

We all know a lot of people enjoy and have become accustomed to the rough and utilitarian look and feel of the YJ's, TJ’s, and JK’s. The Sahara JL is a completely different animal, embodying a refined look, all while creating a bit of a hum in the world of Jeep Wrangler.

(http://tx.bz-mail-us1.com/1/l/3d0c6a8f8dea406cb67af8bf5e27efa1?rl=https%3A%2F%2F www.extremeterrain.com%2Fjl-interior-review.html)View our review here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/jl-interior-review.html

We love the new JL in and out but the real question we have is, what do you think? Does it hit the right mark for exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/)’s audience? Would it be something you could share? Please consider posting the link above on your website, blog or social channel(s) and we'll make sure to keep our in-depth JL Wrangler reviews coming!

Over at ExtremeTerrain, we’re still hype about the 2018 JL Wrangler release, and the feeling is mutual in the Jeep community. We’ve gotten a lot of positive responses from our last outreach, featuring the 2018 JL Wrangler Concept Jeeps—Apocalypse, Overland, & Beach. The number one question we’ve gotten is: “Which one are you going to build?”

So, Paul, we’re asking you to weigh in and let us know; which concept Jeep would you like to see us build?

Given the choice between a lightly modified, late-gen Wrangler, versus the previous generation with a mountain of mods, which would you and your followers at exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/) choose? ExtremeTerrain’s latest giveaway gives you the chance to provide your input—which gen is better?

Both Wranglers are 2-doors with (slightly different) Teraflex Lift Kits and 35” wheel/tire packages. However, the JL is a basic Sport S model while the JK is a nicely-equipped Sahara with a ton of supporting mods like: front and rear axle trusses, 4.10 gears, cage kit, rock sliders + more! Either way, no matter which one you choose, a grand prize in the neighborhood of $50k is on the line.

Vote now, vote often—entrants have the chance to enter weekly for the chance to win their favorite!

ExtremeTerrain video host Ryan Huck visited Easter Jeep Safari in Moab at the end of March to see the sights and check out all of the really-cool JL Wrangler Concepts. Checkout this awesome Make A Wish build from Extreme Terrain.

Hi Paul,

Over the years, ExtremeTerrain has participated in granting wishes to kids in need of a little pick-me-up. This time around, we are proud to announce the completion of a TJ Wrangler build of epic proportions, which we unveiled at our company picnic Saturday, May 12th, 2018.

Our Make-A-Wish® recipient, a deserving teenager named Earl, dropped off his worn-out TJ Wrangler to the team at ExtremeTerrain for a make-over a few months ago. After assessing the vehicle’s condition, the make-over quickly turned into a frame-off, complete restoration. This badass TJ build is worthy of press attention, with over $35k in new parts and almost 500 man-hours of labor invested. This is not some fly-by-night, Pimp My Ride type of lick and stick “build”.

I know exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/) has an interest in this type of automotive content, otherwise I wouldn’t want to waste your time. Do you think your site’s audience would have an interest in reading a brief article about this news in May?

If so, please consider sharing this announcement with the viewers and fans of exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/). Here’s a link to your media kit (https://www.dropbox.com/s/jfdvqrcb0e8o51n/Make-A-Wish%202018%20-%20Earl%27s%20Press%20Release.docx?dl=0) with the press release and images.

Hi Paul,

No, we’re not talking about cheeseburgers when we say, “slider comparison!” Since the 2018 Wrangler can be purchased in two different generational styles, many of our customers have asked what the differences are between the JK, versus the new JL generation Wrangler, and we listened!

To the untrained eye, a JK or JL rolling down the street look very similar. Because of this confusion, we created a few slider illustrations that pinpoint the subtle differences in their unique, physical and external characteristics.

You can view our JL vs. JK comparison guide here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/2018-wrangler-jl-jk-guide.html

Since this is a topic on the minds of all Jeepers, would you care to style a story around this informative and interactive piece of content on exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/)? Please let me know if you need anything in addition to what is here, as I look forward to seeing your coverage soon!

Hi Paul,

For the JK Wrangler, a cold-air intake isn't truly a cold-air intake unless it's drawing air from outside the engine compartment-- like a snorkel does. Many have heard of snorkeling as the practice of swimming with a diving mask and breathing through a tube but, in the Jeep world, a snorkel is slightly different.

In the latest educational video from ExtremeTerrain, Ryan Huck explains the different kinds of Jeep snorkels, weighing out their pros and cons, and why you need one. If you've ever taken your Jeep through deep mud or water crossings, or thought about doing so, this is the video for you!

ExtremeTerrain’s (XT) Clean Trails Initiative Program has been committed to providing funding to 4x4 Clubs and Organizations for off-road trail improvements since 2015. XT’s Clean Trails Initiative was founded, not just to fund cleanups, restorations and trail expansions, but, also, to combat the negative stigma sometimes associated with the motorized recreational off-road community.

We wanted to provide you with an update on the program, as we have recently expanded the eligibility requirements to allow more clubs, specifically off-road parks and environmental organizations, the opportunity to apply for XT’s Clean Trails Initiative grants. Additionally, we have recently approved 14 more grants for the summer and fall of 2018 for a grand total of 43 grants and $12,650 in funding for trail improvements across the country.

You can find out more about the program uses, eligibility, requirements, and participants here: https://www.extremeterrain.com/clean-trail-initiative-program.html

Can you help us spread the word on exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/) so we can fund more trail improvements projects in 2019? Cool video. The JL did good for having highway tires. A simple tire change would have got him over that last obstacle.

Some parts require little to no instruction to install—just lick and stick! Other items can be a little more complicated, requiring some additional guidance. On ExtremeTerrain.com (http://extremeterrain.com/), many of the thousands of products available include install guides on their product page to assist customers in the research and installation of their new parts. Some of these guides are submitted by the manufacturer, others are submitted by our customers. When our customers go out of their way to create install guides where they’re needed to help other customers, ExtremeTerrain takes the extra step to issue up to $200 to thank the author.

Although this program has been ongoing since 2014, issuing over $110,000 in store credit since its inception, this is the first time we are going public to announce it. We thought some of your fans and viewers at exploringnh.com (http://exploringnh.com/) might enjoy making some guides and earning some parts for their Wrangler or Tacoma. What do you think? Many of our current install guide authors feel it’s a fun and easy way to earn mods.

Founded in 2015, ExtremeTerrain’s (XT) Clean Trails Program (CTP) aims to assist local off-road clubs and organizations with grant $$$ to fund public and private trail maintenance and restoration.

Since its inception, XT’s CTP has donated $21,650, with $7,250 of that total contributed since January 1, 2019 alone!Backing the recreational organizations and assisting their efforts is a very small price to pay to combat the negative stigma which is sometimes associated with the 4x4 and off-road lifestyle. Who said trail stewardship is dead?

It’s that time of year where trails nationwide start to see increased activity and with that, XT has updated their CTP page, including the addition of organizations who have benefited from this program. Applications for 2019 trail grants can also be submitted through this same page.https://exploringnh.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=33231&stc=1

The recipe for Wrangler’s versatility and popularity comes with the fact that you can take it almost anywhere—especially with the right tires! When it comes to choosing Jeep tires, considerations on purpose and usage should weigh heavily when it comes to making a final purchasing decision.
Variables like tread pattern, size, and tire pressure all affect how your Jeep will perform; whether your Jeep stays strictly on-road, or sees some occasional mud, rocks, snow, or sand. ExtremeTerrain’s Jeep Wrangler Tires Tech Guide, equipped with tire size & lift kit compatibility charts, video, and metric to standard tire calculator, is the first thing any Jeeper should consult before plunking down that hard-earned coin on a fresh set of meats.

Crazy to think we've almost hit the $100k mark with our college scholarships program. Just last week the team at Turn5 - the parent company to AmericanMuscle.com (http://americanmuscle.com/), AmericanTrucks.com (http://americantrucks.com/) & ExtremeTerrain.com (http://extremeterrain.com/) - selected another 5 students to receive Spring 2020 academic awards. It's nationwide - Connecticut to Washington state this time - and it is supporting students striving to be our next great automotive designers, tradespeople and stewards of off-roading recreation.
As you may remember from previous news releases on this topic, we have been supporting college students for 6 years with these scholarships. Ultimately, giving back to students pursuing dreams in the automotive, and other relevant industries (land management for Jeeps on ExtremeTerrain, and the trades for AmericanTrucks) is the perfect way for our company to support the enthusiast community we serve with our auto parts business.
